H.Res.291 - Supporting the goals and ideals of "Financial Literacy Month"

H.Res.291 raises public awareness about the importance of personal financial education in the United States and the serious consequences that may result from a lack of understanding about personal finances. It also calls on the Federal Government, States, localities, schools, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to observe Financial Literacy Month with appropriate programs and activities. This resolution was introduced by Reps. Joyce Beatty (OH-03) and Young Kim (CA-40).
